What does diversity mean to you?

Diversity, to me, means respecting and accepting the unique qualities that make us all different. This includes race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, age, physical abilities and lots more.

Who is your role model?

I’ve always been inspired by entrepreneurs who took the non-tradional route and were once considered to be ‘failures’ in the eyes of society. I’m particularly inspired by Sophia Amoruso (founder of Nasty Gal and Girlboss) and her story. I can relate to a lot of parts in her journey!

What is your advice to a young person starting their career or entrepreneurial journey?

Being an entrepreneur is hard and definitely not for the faint-hearted. Therefore, you need to be passionate and obsessed with the problem you’re trying to solve. That’s the only thing that will keep you going when the times are tough!
